Set in present day, Sha Po Lang features a story about two cops (Donnie Yen and Simon Yam) and a crime lord (Sammo Hung). Simon Yam is raising a kid, the sole survivor of his family wept out by the crime lord years ago. Donnie Yen is hunting down a hitman (Wu Jing, former Chinese wushu champion) and the trail leads him to the crime lord as well. Mainland Chinese actress Liang Jingke played the female lead. The cast also includes Hung Tin-Ming (Sammo Hung’s son) and Wai Tin-Chi. The film is directed by Yip Wai-Shan and the action is done by Donnie Yen.
