The Green Hornet 3 The Dragon vs The Bat Description: The Green Hornet, a masked fictional crime fighter, was originally created by Fran Striker in the 1930s. The Green Hornet is Britt Reid, a newspaper publisher by day who by night goes out in his masked “Green Hornet” identity to fight crime as a vigilante, accompanied by his similarly masked Asian manservant Kato (Bruce Lee) and driving a car, equipped with advanced technology, called “Black Beauty”.
Pilot Episode: In this premiere episode, Dave Bannister is shot at a funeral with 20 witnesses present and hot a shot was heard, not even from the Green Hornet’s friend, the District Attorney, who was also attending. A messenger from a Brokerage House, carrying $5,000 in negotiable bonds, is the SILENT GUN’s second victim. The Green Hornet and Kato respond in the infamous Black Beauty and hit the streets to track down this villainous culprit.
Two Part Episode: The Green Hornet and Kato, tracing a flood of counterfeit stapms, are confronted by the ulikely Col. Gumm. The two crimefighters leave the scene because of lack of evidence. Factory owner Pinky Pinkston is concerned about the break-in, so she asks Commissioner Gordon for help, and Gordon alerts The Dynamic Duo. The Green Horneta and Kato, returning to the factory in an attempt to round up the do-badders, are captured by Gumm and his man. Although The Batman and Robin arrive soon after, they fall into a glue trap and are forced to watch in horror as The Hornet and kato are fed to an Enlarged Perforation and Coiling Machine, in which they are both to be blocked, gummed, and perforated into lifesizd stapms, while The Caped Crusader and The Boy WOnder, stuck to Col. Gumm’s undetatchable glue pad, await their turn.
